WOW! What an exciting adventure we are in for with this upcoming new moon in Gemini. And when they are filled with this much potency. None other than poetry emerges from my soul. Though before my poem, I wanted to share some treasures of this new moon.
Communication. Connection. The great observer. The breath of Gaia. Creativity with our hands. Expansion in the wisdom of our thoughts. Are just some of the threads of this sacred dark moon.
The birth of a whole new level of language awaits us.
A return to the ways of the indigenous and aboriginal people. Their masterful knowledge of nature, the earth, her natural cycles and medicines, her plants, trees and animals. Where everything is alive! Where all was passed down through words and song. Through generations. Where the symbols that unfold in dream time set the stage for day to day society.
This new moon is a re-birth of this ancient mystical knowledge.
She is also infused with MANY celestial beings and symbolic themes of freedom, truth, human rights, and civil rights. And rich themes of non-conformity. Deep down and dirty. Truth and justice for all. As she is wrapped in the warrioress energies of Black Moon Lilith and Eris.
Both of these warrioresses know intimately what it feels like to be excluded. And will not tolerate untruths and injustices. “Nobody excluded!!” You may hear their primal roar. They both stand firmly in their truth and sovereignty. And pour this into our planet.
Not to mention Chiron, who is also part of this dance. Where we FEEL the social exclusion. And the woundedness around this. Where we are made to feel different because we speak our ‘truth’ and cause mayhem in systems that are too afraid to change. From micro systems of family. To macro systems of government. And beyond.
For someone who has Black Moon Lilith in Gemini. And Chiron in Aquarius. With Eris in Aries in my South Node. I feel this new dark moon deeply.

And now on to my poem. May it assist you in some way as you navigate these powerful potent energies. Some of which will be with us for a very looonnnnggg while (i.e. Pluto in Aquarius for the next 20 years!!! So powerful!). For those who prefer to listen, I’ve attached an audio below.
‘An Ode to an Ancient Friend’
You are here. I feel you. Dancing. Twirling. And flitting about.
Many speak of you. As if you were something to heal. To overcome. To cleanse. To purify. To dissolve. To expel. To fix. To transform.
The list goes on…
But I. I want to get to know you. Even more. There’s an air of mystery about you. I’m intrigued by your touch. Your taste. Your scent. So extravagant. And elegant. All at the same time.
My lips quiver. As you wander about my tongue. My belly trembles. As you whirl through the dark folds of my womb. My spine tingles. As you spin up and down the vast space of my back. My toes flutter. As you glide down my legs and land tenderly. Into my soles. My heart pierces like shards of glass. As you etch your wisdom into my soul.
My entire body hums to the uniqueness of your sovereign presence. While my ancestors reach through time to caress my ache.
There is something about you. That intrigues me. That is… Mystical. Messy. Enchanting. Intense. Magnetic. Dramatic. Radiant. Magickal.
And I can’t wait to get to know you. Even more.
So… Hail and welcome, my cherished friend. And ancient ally.
Without you. I could not fulfill my destiny.

(A letter to my Sacred Wound)
As you step into this exciting awe-inspiring Gemini new moon, laced with the magnificence of the upcoming Solstice, may you plant your intention seeds into the dark fertile soil of Gaia. And flit across the earth. Rooted in your truth. Ready to receive. All of the treasures awaiting you.
