“The dark does not destroy the light; it defines it. It’s our fear of the dark that casts joy into the shadows.” ~Brene Brown

Welcome to this womb temple of mystery, silence, and surrender. Allow yourself to be gently wrapped in a sacred chrysalis of feminine darkness and deep embrace.

This is a tender space where that which no longer serves you may naturally fall away with ease and grace. A space where your most beloved questions, longings and intentions are held by the sanctity of Divine love and reverence. A space of emptying and giving to Mother Earth. A space of sacred communion and reunion with her endless loving bounteous support. A space to sharpen your intuition as you nestle into the darkness. Rest in this space as long as you need and trust that all is well.

As you acclimate to this sacred space, notice your surroundings. Give yourself all the time you need. As you slow your pace, sense into what it might feel like to trust the darkness… to trust the silence… to trust your inner guidance through the portal of your body, your breath, your felt sense.

What if the darkness provided a safe portal for the emergence of your shadows? What if your shadows were a sacred and holy ground — a rich birthing space for your most sacred gifts to take flight? What kind of flight might you create with your shadows? What if their only need was your loving and gentle embrace, enveloped with tender curiosity — a space to be seen and heard with heartfelt honoring and appreciation? From this loving space, sense your sacred dance of shadow weaving gracefully between your inner wounding and your deep sense of wonder…

As you settle into this temple of mystery and grace, breathe in the magic of creation. This is where sacred seeds are planted, nourished and protected in the rich dark soil of Mother Earth. Where her timing is in perfect synchronicity with the Divine. Where her sacred hum reverberates through every cell of your body.

Soften into her womb… Feel her heartbeat merge with yours. Feel the merging of all aspects of yourself as your fears become a warm nourishing portal to propel you forward…

And trust that all is well.

THE GUEST HOUSE by Rumi

This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes As an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.
