The mystery of falling is so delicate. So beautiful. So potent. So alive.
A secret treasure to behold.
To anoint with our breath. Our fingertips.
Our presence.
This month’s new moon blog will be a bit shorter. Maybe because I’ve been immersed in simplicity. Maybe because this month I’ve had less time to focus on it. Maybe because I’m picking up the collective’s busyness with little time to wander in our wonder. While sharing the latter, I feel grief in my heart. A sadness for humanity. And the state many of us have found ourselves in.
From a young child, I could feel the ache of the world. With my sensitive body and my mission codes already beaming my focus outward. And exploring ways to help bring back the wonder; the simplicity; the awe. As many from my childhood can attest, my favorite word was “Awwwwww”. It’s as if my soul wanted me to remember my deepest longing. To cultivate a life of awe. And a heart of wonder. Of complete fascination at the utter beauty of our natural world. Where each moment could be stretched and wrapped around the most intricate folds of a flower petal. Or a drop of dew. Or a blade of grass.
To this day, I could spend hours in the forest. Foraging. In pure delight. At the miraculous world we live in. Filled with magical jewels and elixirs. Everywhere. For us to partake in. One of my most cherished explorations is to collect a pile of nature treasures. And to create something beautiful. Whether with leaves. Flower petals. Acorns. Pinecones. Tree bark.
Especially what falls to the ground.
In humble beauty. And intimate sanctity. Trusting they will be held.
By this precious earth.
As a child I loved the feeling of ‘falling’ and as my memories tenderly sweep through my childhood. One of my favorite playful games was “London Bridge is Falling Down”. Because I LOVED that feeling of whirling around and falling to the ground (with my circle of friends). As if Gaia, the Sacred, was already imprinting in my soul, embodied memory of my love of impermanence. Of change. Of feeling held by the earth. Of sweet humble surrender.
When we allow ourselves to fall to the ground in pieces. At our utmost breaking point. When we have had enough of trying so hard. When perfectionism has just overtaken our ability to experience wonder and awe. That feeling of falling to the ground and being held… is such a precious refuge. Where our compost can be alchemized into a sacred jewel. Where we finally hold ourselves (and let ourselves be held) in grace. And say.
Here I am.
Just as I am.
This is me.
Imperfect harmony.
Sweet Naked Innocence
As you step into this month’s new moon in Cancer, how might you feel the tender soil (or sand) beneath your feet? As if Gaia was kissing your soles with each footstep. How might you sloooowww down and breathe in the exquisite wonder all around you? Rapturing in one single leaf (or seashell). For at least 5 minutes. Would that be possible? I would love for you to give that gift to yourself and to our beautiful earth.
Happy foraging!
P.S. In case you missed my last blog. I wanted to share my newest offering AND other changes I made to my services.
Many of you know I recently wrote a book with 15 other women titled “Turning Point: Empowering Stories to Activate the Divine Feminine Within”.
I’m so excited to share with you that I am now offering my chapter as an eBook titled “Celebrate the Fall: My Mythic Journey Home”.
You pay whatever you want. And ALL proceeds will be split evenly between two charities. Both stand for freedom. Freedom of expression and freedom from oppression. One supports human rights; the other, animal rights.
ADDITIONALLY, 14% of ALL proceeds from the sales of all my offerings, courses, and journeys will be split evenly between these same two charities.
Here is a link to my website’s home page Dancing in deLight where you can purchase my eBook and learn more about the charities, my mission, and my services.
Thank you so much!

As I share mine, I invite you to contemplate your own… in this moment.
I taste lemon water.
I smell leaves.
I hear the whirring of my air conditioner.
I see my I Love My Godmother tea cup.
I touch my fingertips together.
