Happy Earth Day!
I had so much fun on my bike ride this morning. Stopping by these exquisite trees (who interweaved around each other) and offering flowers and foods to nature, the river, the rocks, the earth.
I hope you all have a chance to play in nature today and to celebrate and honor her immense beauty. I wanted to also share a poem I wrote on Earth Day a while back. For those interested in reading it.
Enjoy this magical day, everyone!
Beloved Mother Earth…
I breathe in your sacred hum and feel tender emanations of love.
I breathe in your rhythms and feel nourished in exuberance and wonder.
I breathe in your cycles and feel the sweet dance of shadow and light.
I breathe in your heartbeat and feel gently held and cherished.
I breathe in your beauty and feel the sanctity of awe and presence.
I breathe in your elements and feel the wildness of my spirit.
How will I ever express the depth of gratitude I feel for your never-ending abundant gifts?
In the deepest possible vibration of love and reverence—I sing to you:
Happy BEarthday…
